It's that time of year, Thanksgiving! A day where most of us eat too much, sit around too long and have more desserts in one day than we will for an entire year. So, we wanted to share some easy tips that will help you thrive this Thanksgiving.
First, Get Moving! No, we are not suggesting you start a new workout program. However, we do suggest that you move. Take a walk before and after eating, it can help keep you from taking that 3pm nap after you eat. It can also increase your energy and help you to enjoy the rest of the day!
Next, Enjoy Eating, but watch your portions by taking only one scoop full of whatever you want. Remember, leftovers are sometimes better than the meal! So make sure you eat slow and drink plenty of water while eating. This will keep you from stuffing yourself to the point of collapsing!
And finally, Give Gratitude! Obviously this is the time of year when we give thanks. So make sure you take the time to give thanks to those you love and don't hesitate to share those sentiments.
